CHS Harvest for Hunger presented a check for $22,416 to help Hungry Montanans
CHS retail locations across Montana, which includes Mountain West Cooperative, have raised $22,416 for Montana’s hungry children, seniors and families. They presented the check to the Montana Food Bank Network on April 23, 2013.

For nearly 80 years, the CHS system has valued volunteerism and been a responsible steward in its communities; the CHS Harvest for Hunger food and fund drive is designed to harness the power of the 70 CHS-owned/locally governed cooperatives to address America’s growing hunger problem.
“We are so appreciative of CHS for raising so much money for hungry Montanans,” said Gayle Gifford, CEO of Montana Food Bank Network. “This donation will provide enough food for 134,496 meals!”
