Many households, families, and seniors in Montana qualify for food assistance through SNAP! The average SNAP benefit in Montana is nearly $120 per person per month. Seniors can receive SNAP benefits and still receive senior commodities and Meals-on-Wheels.

What is SNAP?
SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as Food Stamps), a program designed to help people in Montana make ends meet and afford healthy food. We can provide information on SNAP and current eligibility guidelines, and even assist you in completing the SNAP application by phone. We can also provide information on other forms of assistance that you may qualify for, or direct you to programs located in your area.
