We can’t do it alone.
Volunteers play a vital role in our mission to end hunger in Montana! There are two ways you can volunteer at Montana Food Bank Network:
- Food repacks: Volunteers for this year-round project repack food purchased in bulk into smaller family-sized portions for our Network Partners, which are food banks and hunger-relief organizations across Montana. This project can be done solo or in groups of 13 or fewer. It requires attention to detail and standing. Children over 6 are welcome with adult supervision.
- Mail-a-Meal builds: During this opportunity, volunteers pack nutritious food into boxes to be sent to Montanans experiencing hunger in rural areas. This service brings vital food to areas in Montana that don’t have local food banks. This project can be done solo or in groups of 7 or fewer. It requires attention to detail, lifting 30-pound boxes, bending, and walking. Children over 6 are welcome with adult supervision.
Please note, all volunteer opportunities are located at Montana Food Bank Network’s warehouse at 5780 Alloy North Missoula, MT 59808 ONLY. To volunteer for a Network Partner at another location, please locate them on our Network Partner map and reach out to them directly about their volunteer opportunities.
