Well you had better get your tickets for Montana Food Bank Network’s 3rd annual event, The Taste. On March 9th from 6 - 9pm you will enjoy the unique space at Neptune Aviation, local music from John Floridis and Tom Catmull, a chance to win one of a kind items and your unlimited tastes of all food and drinks from over 40 local chefs, brewers, distillers and vintners and more!
The staff at Montana Food Bank Network are serious about food. We created The Taste out of our passion to support local food and feeding our neighbors in need. The result is a unique event that supports your community by eating delicious local creations. Feel good about feeding your inner foodie while knowing that every dollar raised provides a day’s worth of meals to a Montanan in need.
Last year we had some mouth-watering dishes featured at The Taste. With food provided by The Trough, BRAVO! Catering, The Good Food Store, Big Sky Culinary Institute, Paws Up, and many more. Your taste buds are going to need a break after this one! To wash it all down we had drinks by all your local favorites like Montgomery Distillery, Bayern Brewing, Lolo Peak, Mission Mountain Winery and more. Your complimentary glass won’t stay empty long at The Taste!
If you came to The Taste last year, you know that these prizes are not to be missed. Over 100 businesses donated raffle and silent auction items for our guests to win. Raffle highlights from last year include gift cards to all of your favorite local businesses like Montana Club, Rockin Rudys, Orange Street Food Farm, Tamarack Brewing, Burns St. Bistro, The Source, Pearl Café, and many more! Let’s not forget the awesome silent auction items such as a romantic couples two night getaway with dinner and rafting at Buck’s T-4 Lodge or the incredible guided fly fishing trip from Tightline Adventures. We strive to get bigger and better prizes every year, so keep an eye on our social media and be the first to know about The Taste 2018 prizes!
Did we mention that you get to party in an air hanger? That’s right, Neptune Aviation has once again generously donated their air hanger to host The Taste (Sorry plane rides not included with your ticket purchase). Neptune Aviation has been committed to fighting fires in Montana and US forests since 1993, getting their name from the Neptune air tanker. The air hanger makes this an unforgettable experience that everyone will be talking about for months to come.
Last Year we sold out the event with over 700 people in attendance. We were humbled and amazed by the overwhelming support from our community. This year we are shooting for 800+ participants and we are quickly approaching that goal. Purchase your tickets online. Tickets will also be available at the door (if available) but we don't recommend waiting until March 9th. We expect to sell out again this year!
The Montana Food Bank Network is committed to ending hunger in Montana. We believe that every person has a basic human right to access nutritious, high-quality food that nourishes the mind, body, and soul. We distribute food from Heron to Wibaux, Eureka to West Yellowstone and everywhere in between. We partner with neighborhood food banks, community pantries, social organizations, homeless shelters, schools, and hundreds of other organizations that are all working together to end hunger in Montana.

It takes a lot of hard work to plan an event of this caliber. Our staff is working around the clock to make The Taste an unforgettable evening for everyone. We are more than happy to put in the effort to make The Taste a success, but we could always use an extra hand.
