Lydia is from the rolling hills of Maineville, Ohio and now calls the mountains and valleys of Missoula home after moving there to attend the University of Montana. She believes that community is incredibly important and that food and community are deeply intertwined. Lydia loves getting to connect with people from across the state to work to end food insecurity.
FUN FACTS! LYDIA…
- loves to ski, hike, backpack, and do almost anything that brings her outside. She is very proud of her (almost permanent) Chaco sandal tanline that proves it;
- never ever leaves the house without lip balm of some kind and is always looking for good lip balm recommendations;
- can still manage to pull off a roundoff back handspring (a skill left over from her middle school gymnastics days);
- says her favorite color is “cornflower blue” because she thinks it sounds way better than “periwinkle”; and
- is an avid hobby runner and still logs her runs using the same Garmin watch that she got for Christmas when she was 13!
