We can’t do it alone.

Volunteers play a vital role in Montana Food Bank Network’s mission to eliminate hunger in Montana!

Food repacks or sorting: This year-round project takes foods that arrive to us in bulk-sized bins and then repacks them into smaller family-sized portions that are more shelf-friendly for our network partners. This easy project is suitable for most ages and group sizes of six or fewer.

Mail-a-Meal builds: Pack nutritious food into boxes to be sent to Montanans experiencing hunger in rural areas! This service brings vital food monthly to areas in Montana that don’t have local food banks. This volunteer opportunity is suitable for most ages and group sizes of eight or fewer. It requires attention to detail, lifting 30-pound boxes, and walking.

If you would like to work on a specific project, please let us know at [email protected]

Please note, all volunteer opportunities are for Montana Food Bank Network’s warehouse in Missoula ONLY.  To volunteer for a Network Partner at another location, please locate them on our Network Map to reach out to them directly about their volunteer opportunities.
