
Emily grew up in Burlington, Vermont, and later moved to Missoula, Montana to pursue even more outdoor opportunities. Her passion for her work stems from her belief that everyone deserves reliable access to nutritious food. Emily enjoys helping create lasting, equitable solutions that improve the health and well-being of children and families across Montana, and considers the best part of her job to be helping children and families across Montana access nutritious food and the resources they need to thrive.
FUN FACTS! EMILY…
- loves spending time outside, especially when it involves backpacking, skiing, and mountain biking;
- is passionate about making nutritious food more accessible and believes food is a powerful tool for improving health and building stronger communities;
- learned to ski when she was just two years old;
- has two dogs named Otter and Eddy who love to join her on her outdoor adventures; and
- has climbed Mount Borah, which stands at 12,662 feet!
