Lydia is from the rolling hills of Maineville, Ohio and now calls the mountains and valleys of Missoula home after moving there to attend the University of Montana. She believes that community is incredibly important and that food and community are deeply intertwined. Lydia loves getting to connect with people from across the state to work to end food insecurity.

FUN FACTS! LYDIA…

• loves to ski, hike, backpack, and do almost anything that brings her outside. She is very proud of her (almost permanent) Chaco sandal tanline that proves it;
• is learning how to speak Chinese;
• says her favorite color is “cornflower blue” because she thinks it sounds better than “periwinkle”; and
• is an avid hobby runner and still logs her runs using the same Garmin watch that she had when she was 13!
